What you may think do these two things have in common. Well the tin hut photo is from my holidays in Mull and I also saw them when further ooop north in Sutherland on me hols last year, I don't get very far on me hols.
Anyway I just loved the tin huts, some are still used and some left to rot away. When you need an extension you just tack it on anywhere.
So I've decided to knit my own version of the tin huts for Forth Valley Open Studios.
This is on from 12th - 20th June and I'm going to be at my pal Lynne's studio with all her lovely artwork too. We'll be at 109 Queen Street Alva, FK12 5AX from 10-2:30 from 13th - 20th except 12th and 18th when we're open evening at 5-7pm. Come along and see what we've been up to.
Eh oop me dook.
ReplyDeleteThanks for link.
Can I order a two storey knitted hut to attach to the back of my house please. Also, do I need planning permission?
Knit me a full size photo studio, or even a big tin shed.
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed my visits to Lynnes studio while Jessie looked after the craft stall.
